Cawston Football Club score a hat trick
Cawston Football Club won three cups as well as reaching the semi-final of the Norfolk Junior Cup Competition
In 1976 the Cawston Football Club won three cups; the North East Norfolk Championship Cup, the League Cup and the Aylsham Charity Cup. <p>Cemetery Gravestones Inscriptions and Locations.</p>
<p><span class="C-6">The Gravestone project for </span><span class="C-6">St. Agnes' Church<span class="C-6">, the Cemetery and </span></span><span class="C-6">Memorial/Remembrance<span class="C-6"> is ongoing and will be updated as time permit which is being listed to help those people who wish to trace some of their family history.<br /><br />The inscription have been taken from the gravestones and from records held by the Cawston Historical Society<span class="C-6"> which are in the </span>Heritage room<span class="C-6"> at the </span>Village Hall<span class="C-6">.<br /><br />Many of the stones are now getting very difficult to read and no records have been sort. Bowls Clubs
<p>Location/Address: The present bowling green/club is by the cemetery at Norwich Road. NR10 4EX which was built in the 1970s.<br /><br />Emergency Heart Defibrillator installed outside of club house 2015.</p>

<p>The White House Bowls Club: During 1965 the White House Bowls Club played friendly matches with various local clubs, about one match a week was played.</p>
<p>The club had two trophies:- Presidents Trophy (Pairs) won by Mr A. Cox and Mr C. Thompson, 1965 Perowne Trophy (Single) won by Mr H. Spooner, 1965</p>
<p>Information supplied by Cawston W.I: In the Parish Magazine 1967: White House Bowls Club opening April 29th, New members Ladies or Gentlemen are all very welcome. Secretary C.G. Thompson.</p>
<p>Cawston enjoyed four bowling greens, one at the Ratcatches public house, the Village Hall, at rear of the post office in the High Street and the rear of the White House in Chapel Street now Broadland Winery.</p>
